Bellevue Badminton Club Junior Program Policies & Procedures

2. Only new students will be accepted during OPEN ENROLLMENT WEEKS. Open Enrollment weeks are Week 1 and Week 5 of each 8 week session.
3. All Payments must be made on or before the First Day of Class
   • We except Credit Cards/ Checks/ Cash / Travelers Checks.
   • A $10 late fee will be charged for all late payments (session 3 late payment fee will be assessed after July 19th 2010)
   • A declined credit card will be charged a $15 processing fee.
4. All students must sign in at the Front Desk before class begins.
5. All classes are scheduled in 8 week sessions. There will be no refunds for the classes.
   
   • We allow 1 make up class per 8 week session (for classes in Rally, Smash, Competitor, Junior Elite, and Elite). For Team 1, Team 2, and Team 3 make up classes will be based on coaches decision and class availability. Due to the high volume of students, make up class is not a guarantee and will be approved based on space availability.

     • Make up class can only be scheduled if the student is actively taking classes.
     • Make up class must be scheduled within the same 8 week class session that the student has enrolled, otherwise the class will be forfeited and the class cannot be carried forward in the next 8 week session.

If you are going to be absent from Team 1 and Team 3 classes, please notify Huaiwen Xu before the day of class via email. Absent from class without notification will result in forfeiting the class.

If you are going to be absent from Team 2 classes, please notify Paz Ben-Sira before the day of class via email. Absent from class without notification will result in forfeiting the class. 
       • Rally, Smash, Competitor, Junior Elite, and Elite make up classes must contact Kenny Lu via email at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for schedule and approval. If you are going to be absent from Rally, Smash, Competitor, Junior Elite and Elite classes, please notify Kenny Lu at the latest the day before class via email. Absent from class without notification will result in forfeiting the class.
       • Please allow the coaches at least 3 business days to schedule the make up class otherwise you may not get your make up class scheduled on time.
6. Only new students who sign up on the 5th week during open enrollment will receive a pro-rate tuition fee adjustment for the 8 week session.
7. Please wear non-marking, non back soled shoes(badminton shoes is highly recommended) YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE COURTS IN ANY OTHER SHOES! Badminton shoes can be purchased at the Pro-Shop
8. Please dress appropriately, warm up pants, t-shirts and shorts (no jeans, no dress pants, no dress shirts and etc). Badminton Apparel can be purchased at the Pro-Shop.
9. You can "borrow" a racket from the club if you don't have a racket to use based on first come basis.  The Club can not guarantee a racket available for use every time.
10. Team 1, Team 2, Team 3, Elite, and Junior Elite are required to bring 1 new badminton bird for each day of class. As you check in at the front desk, a new bird must be presented. These birds will be used during class and they will be kept in separate boxes for each individual class so that they may be reused for the same class in the future. Badminton Birds that are approved are: Victor Green Champion Tournament Grade, Victor Blue, Yonex AS 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, Wilson 80, 100. If you have other brands of birdies, please bring it to your coach to get it approved.
11. All Parents  must sign have signed a Waiver and Release of Liability form turned into BBC Pro-shop before any classes can be attended
12. Students must register as BBC member before or simultaneously register for their class to receive the member discounted class rate.
