Email us at info@bellevuebadminton.com within three days of your One-Month Membership expiration and we will prorate the difference between your last monthly fee and the first annual fee. Proration will only occur for the last monthly fee payment. If multiple One-Month Memberships have been taken, proration will not be cumulative for all One-Month Membership dues.

Auto-renewal occurs annually, with the membership fee charged on the same date each year.

A family membership requires a parent or guardian to sign up in person, allowing us to securely and accurately enter their children’s information into our system. Both adults will be required to show government issued ID with home street address in order to match.

A one-day membership allows individuals to temporarily join as members, enabling them to book courts and register for upcoming events.
A guest fee applies when a non-member participates in a reservation alongside a member. Guests are not permitted to book courts.

We do not allow walk-ins or drop-ins for non-members. A membership is required to book a court. A guest may be included if a non-member wants to play with a member.

We do not have an option to pause memberships.

The benefits of using the court reserve app are the simple steps to book a court and register for an event, an easy way to check-in with the barcode when a member arrives, and a good way to check on court availability.

For cancellations between 6 to 24 hrs please call the location pertaining to your reservation. Your cancellation will be eligible for a full refund as credit to your courtReserve account.

For reservation cancellations within 6 hrs of your reservation start time please call the location pertaining to your reservation. These types of cancellations are eligible for a 50% refund as courtReserve credit.

Once the reservation begins, all court fees will be forfeited if the reservation is canceled.

Playing on unreserved courts is not allowed.

Each court reservation can accommodate up to 6 people by default. You may add up to 2 more participants (for a maximum of 8), the member who made the reservation will be charged for each extra individual, regardless of whether they are members or non-members.

Standard Mixers last 2 hours and are divided into 6 rounds of 20 minutes each. Players will participate in a minimum of 4 rounds and rest for up to 2 rounds.

Doubles Rotary Mixers are 90 minutes long, with players sorted into groups of 5 or 6. Depending on the group size, players will play 4 recorded games and rest for 1 or 2 games. There may be extra time at the end for 1 or 2 additional games.

Singles Rotary Mixers are also 90 minutes long, with players sorted into groups of 4. Each player will play 3 recorded games, with some extra time available for additional play once all recorded games are completed.

Please note that arriving late may reduce your playing time. For Rotary Mixers, if the group consists of 3 players (singles) or 4 players (doubles), all available combinations may be played twice.

In Standard Mixers, you can request to play with a specific partner. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but it is not guaranteed. The event’s purpose is to encourage playing with various partners, so each player may request to pair with one person per event.

Parents or guardians will receive an email 1 week prior to the upcoming session, notifying them that their child has advanced to the next level and will be able to register for it.

If you or your child has not had any prior professional training please proceed to sign up for a beginner class of your choosing using courtReserve Through the app Non-Members can also sign up using a Class Pass. To sign up on the app go to the home screen from where you will need to select the Events tab. From there you can search up classes by typing in your level ie: Kids Beginner 1. Make sure to double check the date, time and location as we have various classes and times spanning our 3+ locations.

An assessment is required if a player has had formal training before joining the Bellevue Badminton Club. A player that has never trained formally does not need to do an assessment and should register for a beginner class pertaining to their age group.

You do not need a membership in order to register for classes. Registrants can use the ‘Class Pass’ option on courtReserve to sign up for classes. Please note that this does not include mixers or open play sessions.
